I was in Corning glass museum with my parents in May 2013. There you can sign up for 30 min "make your own glass" project. I signed up for sculpture. Later I realized I should have signed up for flower which is little complicated to make.
Anyway, you do not have huge control over this project. You will do whatever your instructor says. So I will call it an well assisted first project on glassblowing. But the experience of being there, seeing all the shows were fascinating indeed and I have always wanted to do it. So I fulfilled my dream partially :P
