Flower vase

This vase I made last month. I applied blue slip, while slip. Underglaze color - turquoish blue, dark blue, terracotta and white. Glazaed it with clear. The color is not exactly what I was looking for. Terracotta interacted with blue during glazing and turned dark brown :(  

Also the brush strokes were not good because I could not see properly.

The lid got stuck. Always better not to put glaze under the lid. Wax it really carefully, specially the sides or with more sharp edge. I tapped from all the sides and after an hour-effort finally it came out.
In tapping just do it patiently, gently. Use any kind of wooden object for this.
After that I rubbed it with stone to make sure that it opens easily.

Clay Plate - tried with under-glaze ...

  Really upset by the green color for the leaves. Somehow the glaze ate all the green colors.
  So a valuable lesson learned ! Never try light green under-glaze colors with traditional glaze.

My First project

First project of anything is the most interesting ! I was really excited about it.
Clay part is not that bad, went smooth. Thanks to Lynne :-)
Glazing part indeed turned out to be nice. I liked the color very much :-)
