Second Set @ Glazing

I finished the second batch of glazing. I tried few interesting combinations this time --

(1) Half -n- Half: I did two bowls -- Cinnamon + Black and Honey Mustard + Black

(2) Waxing in the middle: I did a Pitcher with handle. This style is best (according to Dominick) if you have the first coat in Cinnamon and then Black.
So the idea is to design some pattern with wax using brush after the first coat of Cinnamon and then put inside the Black glaze. The inside design on Cinnamon will show up in the final glazed item :)

(3) Porcelain slip: I did one plate and one little bowl. So after throwing, put some design inside (I did it with leaves that somebody brought the other day in the studio),  press it hard and apply porcelain (white) slip over and around it. Once done, remove the design. Let it dry slowly.
While glazing, one of the best results can be achieved by applying "Bobby Green" inside the design (here leaf) and then dipping the whole thing in Cinnamon. While doing the inside design with brush you have to be patient and careful. You can apply some shading to it too.

Another interesting glaze combination is Matt white and Glossy Blue, I made a small cup with this combo.

This the whole second set.

The wax design [mentioned in (2)] looks like the following. I did not do a good job, next time I will use a better brush :)

Finally the interesting ones [mentioned in (3)] with porcelain slip and leaf impressions.
